I buy the BlackBerry 8520 in India, which was launched recently with Airtel to life. But I have a prepaid Airtel connection. I must change my number if I buy the BlackBerry? What if I do not intend to BlackBerry e-mail address. Will it work?

You will be asked to Airtel, if you can keep your number, I would probably say yes, but I can tell you with certainty.
The BlackBerry works well as a phone. You lose some of the best e-mail, web browsing, messaging and functionality.
You can still phone, synchronization, media player, SMS, MMS and WAP browser.
